If you are in college or you have been to college, you know that textbooks can get expensive very quickly. I found that I really hate going to the college bookstore because I feel like a sucker when I buy them and I feel like one when I sell my book. (I have also discovered that I am not alone with this thought and that there are many others who experience it as well.) Well here is a solution! Renting textbooks! You pay one price, you don't have to worry about if it will sell at the end of semester or not, and, best yet, you don't have to get up early the last day of the semester when you're half-dead to fight the crowds to re-sell your book to the bookstore.
Last semester I rented mostly from Amazon and the bookstore on campus but I have found an even better place! BookRenters! This place is amazing! I have found some books that were going to cost me several dollars were only $16 or $17 dollars to rent, also I just saved about $200 by renting from BookRenters! I seriously recommend that if you are going to college you check this place out!

Quizlet also offers different ways to study and you can even test your self to see how much information you really know, it also offers different ways of testing including: fill in the blank, multiple choice, and even matching!

Book Review: Alligent
So I have been waiting for this particular book for quite a while as I had read the first two books of the series. I really loved the first two as they were adrenaline pulsing and a very fast read. It is a dystopian novel where the people have divided into certain parts of society and have desired to be only one thing. I found the concept well conceived but I was sorely disappointed by the third novel.
I was disenchanted with this book for a couple of reasons. First, the book doesn't really get the characters anywhere new, and secondly I hated the way it ended. Spoiler alert: but what is with authors pushing their characters off of cliffs? Hunger games ended up in a very similar circumstance as have many other books I've read. If you can't bring your character to a good conclusion then don't make your books into a series. Please! It isn't fair for those of us who have stuck around to the third book in your series only to find that the main character goes crazy, rides off into the sunset, suddenly decides that they can kill their kidnapper, or dies. Really! I know it may be hard but I am sure you can find a better solution than above to end your book. I would have more respect for you as a writer if you can wrap up your series into a decent conclusion. Thank you!

Review: Jello-o No Bake Pumpkin Style Pie
Don't have time to make a pie? No worries! Simply mix it up and toss it in the fridge for an hour! And Delish!
This product is amazing! I like pumpkin pie but this was so easy to make and tasted so good. I think it might actually be better (yeah that's right, better) than the real thing!
Seriously try it! I am pretty sure that you will be as amazed as I was!
Man! I am hungry now!

Beautiful Beauty Book
So I started reading this book the other day and it is hilarious. It's a satire and it depicts what people would be like if we followed all the "rules and expectations" of society.
I find it particularly interesting because it is quite funny but it is also very sad. It is a thought provoking book. This author has done a great job of bluntly but nicely showing how dumb this world would be if we actually acted like people say we should. I think it's really great because people really need to start paying attention to how they judge others and (especially) how they judge themselves. To put an even finer point on it stop living your life according to somebody else's idea of what you should be. They aren't planning for you and they couldn't care less. Make your own plan! (You will enjoy life a lot more.)

REWIEW: Dark Side Skittles
So I was in the car today and we had some dark side skittles and I decided to share my opinion of them with you.
I think that the flavor is a little more muted than the regular skittles. There are 5 different flavors: Pomegranate, Dark Berry, Midnight Lime, Forbidden Fruit, and (my personal favorite) Blood Orange. The amount of calories are still the same as the regular package.
I would recommend these if your want more of a fruity taste than the regular skittles. Personally I think these and the tropical ones are really great!
Dark Side Skittles
So my first question about the whole dark side skittles was "It is making fun of the new owner ship of Star Wars???" I am sure that a lot of you have been thinking the same thing. REVIEW: Starbuck Refreshers
I am sure that all of you have heard about the latest and greatest Starbucks Product that is out there:
Starbucks Refreshers
Well folks, I tried one out. They are pretty good! I was at the grocery store and I was thirsty so I stopped in the cold drink aisle. And lo and behold there were the Starbucks refreshers! They come in three different flavors (in order of picture above) orange + mango, Raspberry Pomegranate, and Strawberry Lemonade. I am not a big fan of mango, and I thought that pomegranate might be a little on the bitter side so I took a Strawberry Lemonade.
It was really good! I thought the packaging was nice. The colors are great. The taste was mild and I didn't expect it to taste the way it did. It was light and afterwards your breath smelled like strawberry lemonade. The taste wasn't like a kick in the mouth like some drinks are and it is carbonated so you can have your bubbly! :) I enjoyed it and I will probably have another one.

Pinterest-be warned!
I have heard a lot of talk about this website clawed Pinterest; and, I'm sure that you have too. In my magazine for machine embroidery this month I saw a handy tip that said there was a really easy way to look and and see all the embroidery patterns that you have. Well, I was really interested since I figured that I have over 100 patterns. Plus the fact that there are some thy I've never even used. So I thought that this would be an easy site to use for creating new projects.
I haven't been on Pinterest for very long but it really is very useful. I have also seen some of the other things that other people have posted and been inspired. If you have a Pinterest thing let me know. I would love to take a look.

My Book
Yay! So my book if FINALLY published. Okay...so it was published the last week of school. But hey! At least I am telling you about it.
Here's what it looks like:
It is completly and totally designed and written by me. Plus it was a lot of work (and a lot of fun) to make.
So there are two options that you can choose from:
The hardbound physical book, which will cost about $41.71. Yes, I know that that is a lot of money but I am not making any profit out of it. It is only the cost for the book. I am also not sure if that includes shipping. If you feel hesitant about it, just know that mine cost me about 48 dollars with express shipping.
OR
You can get the FREE E-BOOK version. I have already heard of a couple of people that have gotten this kind. It is really easy (and plus, I hope you go with this version as well ;) )
Either way, you will have to create a free account with Blurb. But enjoy reading my life story. Feel free to leave NICE comments about it. Ha-ha-ha. Seriously though, if you don't like it, well, hey it was free anyway. Not that I would think that any of you guys WOULDN'T like my book. ;)
Thanks!
P.S. Maybe my book will inspire you to make your own!

Boise Music Week Play: South Pacific
So this past weekend I got to go to the Boise Music Week Play and watch South Pacific. It was fun. Usually they are pretty good and this one was good as well. The costumes were great, the singing was great.
Unfortunately, the language wasn't that great. The "Bloody Mary" actor cussed a lot and so did the officer actors. So I wasn't really impressed on that point.
Also, I didn't realize how sensual the play was. I mean really. I guess it was because the movie was just cleaned up a lot. Hmmmm....guess I will just have to be more careful about the things I watch.
It also was somewhat strange that my sister, Emily, was sick. She didn't feel well and probably should have stayed home but she really wanted to see the play. But she is feeling much better now. I think it was mostly just all of the stress since she has to take several big test these last weeks of school.
Speaking of last weeks of school, I am graduating on Friday with my associates in Graphic Design for Digital Media. Yay me!
I did some finals today and they went really well.
