The Great American Vacation Series (Post #5)

So you have made it this far. We are still in Yellow Stone and we are seeing some amazing things!

This was a formation that we passed. It is formed by chemicals in the water that when released cool and form around the point of origin. They say that some have closed over and are building up pressure to blow like a volcano but instead of hot rock hot water will come out.

We saw this geyser on the road as we were traveling between stops.

We pulled over and watched it go off a couple of times.

Here is what it looks like when it starts!

 going...going....

Gone!

Anyway, after that we went to a lake but that is for next post so here is a sneak peak!

The Great American Vacation Series (Post #4)

So it has been a while since we had a new post about Yellow Stone and so here is the long awaited 4th post.

So after the paint pot type springs we decided to go look at some others.

I found this particular pool to be very interesting because it was one of the very very few green ones that I found. Most of the pools were too hot to having anything living in it and that is why they were so blue, but as you can see, this one is cool enough to have living things in it (note the green). Of course this only looks about a foot deep but it probably was about three to four feet deep.

This one is blue. I thought that it was neat because you could see all the different layers or steps from the middle to the outer right.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about Yellow Stone is the differences in the plant life. As you can see from this picture there is hot springs and forest. Isn't God amazing!!!

The next two pictures go together. They're the same pool but I just wanted to show that they were so hot that they were boiling and so every so often you would see some bubbles come up.

And the rest are some scenery to give you an idea of the different types of things that we saw.

Update

Sorry that it has been so long since I have updated or made a new post but it kind of feels like life has been kicking my can for the last couple of weeks.

Anyway, I hope everybody else is doing well.

New things to take note of:

This is the 100th post of Dynamic Crumbs! Thanks to viewers like you!

Swagbucks has added an app for SBTV which is a lot faster way to earn swagbucks! You only have to watch 5 videos (or commercials in my case) to get 2 swagbucks. Which is great because normally you have to watch 10 videos to get 3 swagbucks so now we can earn more and faster! Yay!

Urban Threads has a new freebie! I wasn't a fan of the new one they have but if you like it yay because it is FREE!

Designs by Juju extended their sale until November 1st and they have a new design out!

Also, keep check Daily Embroidery for your daily freebie!

The Holidays are upon us!

Wow! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! It seems like February first was just a couple of weeks ago!

Anyway, I am excited because the holidays are coming up. It is usually my family's busiest time of year. When I was writing my book I discovered that not only does my family celebrate the holidays but nearly everyone in my family was either born or married in November and December. So that is  a lot of celebrating we do. Plus, celebrating Thanksgiving and getting together, not to mention getting together for Christmas and doing something for the Sunday school kids for Christmas.

My birthday is in December as well but it is near the end of the month. To tell you the truth, by the time that my birthday rolls around I am tired of having cake so usually if my family want to get together I usually ask if we can just have sandwiches. And usually my grandma goes to Smith's and picks up some rolls, lettus leaves, and (some real) deli turkey (which is my favorite by the way)!

Anyway, with all the preparations everyone is getting ready for I thought that I would just spend a little time talking about holidays!

What are your plans? Or favorite holiday? Or holiday tradition? Leave a comment!!!!

Beautiful Beauty Book

So I started reading this book the other day and it is hilarious. It's a satire and it depicts what people would be like if we followed all the "rules and expectations" of society.

I find it particularly interesting because it is quite funny but it is also very sad. It is a thought provoking book. This author has done a great job of bluntly but nicely showing how dumb this world would be if we actually acted like people say we should. I think it's really great because people really need to start paying attention to how they judge others and (especially) how they judge themselves. To put an even finer point on it stop living your life according to somebody else's idea of what you should be. They aren't planning for you and they couldn't care less. Make your own plan! (You will enjoy life a lot more.)

2 Things that would make life easier

Here are a few ideas that I have that I think would make life easier

1) No eating = wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to spend all that time and money on eating. Seriously, think about it! How much time does it take for you to eat all day long. How much money do you spend on eating. When I was in elementary school I read a book about a kid that did a science experiment and makes himself photosynthetic. I think that it is a great idea. Sure there are a few problems with it but doesn't it sound good?

...Aha! So after doing a good search this is what I ended up with...

Despite the disapproval of his parents and his formidable science teacher, nine-year-old Allen determines to do his science project on human photosynthesis. (Amazon summary)

2) Teleporting = again, how much money and time do we spend on travel? Think about Christmas, how much easier would it be if we all had teleporting. No more busy streets, no more auto accidents, plus when you were going on a long trip it wouldn't cost $60 to fill your tank! Think about it.

What do you think would be world changing? Post a comment!

Of Oz

So the other day I went shopping with my mom on her lunch break. We went to this place called Real Deals. It is a furniture and home décor store. They are a really neat store and they have some really awesome items. The store has a lot of vintage looking things and it was a lot of fun. I got this clock. I think that I am going to put it in my bathroom because it matches the theme I have.

When we were done we decided to get some lunch at McDonald's. So I chose a kids cheeseburger meal with Mac Sauce. I choose this because the kids meals are healthier with a little fries and a little apples plus I get a toy that I can put in my prize box. Well, the theme for the toys is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz so I was hoping to get a Toto, Dorothy, or Cowardly Lion. Instead I get the Wicked Witch of the West. Great.....I don't think that this toy is going to work for Sunday School. So I am going to exchange it but I just thought that I would share.

(Sorry photo is grainy but that is the best one I could find)

;) Have a good day and I hope you always get the toys you want in your happy meal.
